BA Maintenance Base Fire Suppression Refurb Project Success
With the assistance of our supply chain, Airport Utilities completed the project management, planning and installation of the refurbishment of a Fire Suppression System on the British Airways Maintenance Base at Heathrow. This included the installation of:
- 2no new diesel fire pumps and associated pipework
- 2no new foam transfer pumps and associated pipework
- 1no electric fire pump and associated pipework
- Installation of a new fire door
- Installation of 2no new diesel tanks and associated pipework and access platform
- Fuel Tank Bund remedial works
Airport Utilities had to coordinate with all stakeholders to deliver high quality works in a busy, operational environment.
